Problem:
Inconsistent Quality in Digital Learning Design
Aula Education, a learning experience platform, sought to improve instructional design quality across its higher education courses. While a quality assurance (QA) framework was in place, it required further rigour to embed high-impact practices (HIPs), quality formative assessment, and community/social learning into the instructional design process. To ensure scalable, high-quality digital learning, Aula needed a structured QA framework that aligned with best practices in instructional design and learner experience.




Solution:
Standardising Quality Assurance for Digital Learning
To enhance digital course quality and engagement, I led the transformation of Aula Education’s Quality Assurance (QA) strategy, ensuring consistent, high-impact instructional design.
This involved:

Developing a Structured QA Framework

Implemented a comprehensive QA model, ensuring consistent review cycles and adherence to best practices in digital learning.

Created clear instructional design standards to improve consistency and effectiveness across all courses, including a redesigned wireframe template with embedded guidance for instructional designers.
