Project Overview
The Earth Warriors initiative encompasses a range of creative and educational projects aimed at empowering young learners to address environmental challenges. These include the authorship of Planet Action, a climate action book for Pearson; the creation of a Show Bible for a complementary series; and interactive, globally collaborative programmes such as the Earth Warriors Poetry Competition and Pen Pal Programme. Together, these projects highlight my commitment to fostering environmental awareness, creativity, and action among young people.
Key Contributions
* Planet Action (Authorship): Wrote the initial drafts for Pearson’s Planet Action, a book designed to educate and inspire young readers to take meaningful action against climate change.
Crafted engaging narratives and activities that blended scientific insight with actionable steps for sustainability.
* Show Bible (Development): Developed a comprehensive show bible for an Earth Warriors children's show, outlining the vision, characters, and storylines for a potential multimedia series.
* Ensured alignment with the curriculum themes and objectives, creating opportunities for cross-platform engagement.
* Earth Warriors Poetry Competition: Designed and facilitated a global poetry competition, encouraging students to express their concerns about climate change creatively.
* Published the Global Poetry Competition Anthology, featuring standout entries that showcased young voices on sustainability.
* Pen Pal Programme: Initiated and managed an international pen pal exchange, connecting students from 18 schools across 4 countries.
* Designed structured activities that fostered cross-cultural understanding and dialogue on environmental issues.
